Lillian Katalanos Waters, 83, died Friday, June 9, 2010 in Glendale, California. Lillian was born March 7, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Louis Katalanos and Pauline Papadeas. She lived in Savannah for over 40 years and moved to Glendale, CA in 1990. She was a civil service employee at Hunter Army Airfield, and a sales associate at Adler's Department Store and Morris Levy's.
Lillian is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Lotz John, Tujunga, CA, and Margaret Clark Julian, of Richmond Hill, one son, Steve Prantalos, of Savannah, grandchildren, Julian, Jr., and Troy Clark, Natasha Lewis, and Corey Prantalos, and great-grandchldren, Brianna, Taylor, Braxton, Lily Rose, and Calista, and numerous friends.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend; loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2010 with a Trisagion Service at 6:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church.
Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
